LIGAND BINDING ASSAYS
WE ASSESS THE PK AND IMMUNOGENICITY PROFILE OF YOUR BIOLOGICS AND BIOSIMILARS

Novel biologics license applications (BLA) have accounted for almost 25% of all FDA approved drugs in recent years. Robust and customizable bioanalytical methods are the backbone of getting valid pharmacokinetic and immunogenicity data throughout preclinical and clinical development phases of biologics and follow-on biologic products. At Algorithme Pharma, our skilled scientists can develop methods from commercially available kits or customized de novo ELISA in different formats (e.g. competitive direct, indirect and sandwich) for determining therapeutic proteins, monoclonal antibodies, peptides or biomarkers in various biological matrices. For oligonucleotides, ELISA methods coupled with hybridization techniques are applied for quantitation.

Our technology platforms allow for development and validation of ligand binding assays customized to your specifications and study design requirements, while taking into account the complex nature of biological products both in terms of structural features and biological properties. Our systems include:

• Mesoscale Sector Imager 2400 electrochemiluminescence (ECL) system which allows for pg/mL sensitivity in single-or multiplex plate format

• Luminex 200 magnetic bead-based multiplexing system for biomarker determination and specific quantitative applications

• BioTek Synergy4 multi-mode plate reader (absorbance, fluorescence and luminescence) permits the development and validation of a large variety of ELISA combining different formats and detection modes

• BioTek EL406 plate washer/dispenser system provides speed and repeatability in several sample processing steps

• Hamilton StarLet automated liquid handling system allows for increased flexibility and throughput as well as reproducibility in liquid handling steps either during method development or validation as well as study sample analysis

Our Ligand Binding team is led by highly experienced scientific professionals with more than 20 years early stage experience in pharmaceutical and contract research organizations. By working closely with you, our Ligand Binding experts can create and customize regulatory compliant assays and methodologies that can help you design and conduct your study effectively and proficiently.
