Algorithme Pharma, 2006 winner in the Human Resources category for large businesses at the 26th edition of the Mercuriades
(Montreal, April 25, 2006) A very proud Louis Caillé, president and chief executive officer of Algorithme Pharma, received the highest honour in the Human Resources category – Large Businesses, during the gala of the 2006 Mercuriades competition, held on April 19th at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
In front of more than 1 000 prominent members of the business community from all areas of Québec, Mr. Caillé accepted this honour and went on to meet Stéphan Bureau, reporter and television host. He declared: “The category in which we where honoured is quite a reflection of the engagement of Algorithme Pharma towards its employees. This is why I share this tribute with each and every of the 350 professionals working at Algorithme Pharma”.
Mr. Caillé also granted interviews to RDI and lesaffaires.com, who wanted feedback from the big winners of the 26th edition of the competition. He reminded all that Algorithme Pharma was also this year one of the finalists in the “Business of the Year” category. This double nomination is the second recognition of Algorithme Pharma in the context of the Mercuriades competition, since the company was also a finalist in the Investment Project category, back in 2002.
About the Mercuriades competition
The Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ) holds this competition in an effort to give recognition to Quebec entrepreneurs and to highlight the successes and achievements of more than 500 businesses located in all regions of Québec.
The Human Resources category refers to the overall labour training and development programs offered by the organization (i.e., planning, specific accomplishments, corporate policies, level of implication and impact on the organization).
