Clinical Associate Director (Operations)

Job description:
In an environment of clinical research, , you will be responsible:
- To supervise the work of some employees in order to ensure that timelines and quality standards are fulfilled in the course of clinical trials scheduled and performed by the Clinical Department.
- In concert with the Clinical Director, to implement and maintain the clinical department quality program and the clinical staff performance indicators program.
- In concert with the Clinical Director and the Training Manager to collaborate in the identification of clinical staff training needs and to maintain the Basic Entry and continuous training program of clinical staff.
- To ensure that clinical trial staffing is performed in cost effective manner and that staffing schedules comply with the Operation Managers needs.
- To ensure that Clinical Operation Managers make cost-effective decisions regarding staffing designs and process organization on the floor during clinical trials.
- To work with the QA department.
- To conduct clinical site visits or audits with sponsors.
Qualifications:
Educational: A Bachelors degree and minimum of 5 years of experience as a manager in the clinical research field or experience judged as equivalent. Experience in a Contract Research Organization is an asset.
Skills: Excellent management and strong leadership skills, good oral/written communication (French and English), organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt and manage changing priorities. Vision for operational efficiency.
Software: MS-Office, Outlook, Dynamic’s Great Plain.
