Senior Technical support Technician (Freezer control)

Job description:
In an environment of laboratory, as an Technical support technician (Freezer control), you will be:

• Responsible for sample control activities including the receipt, inventory, dispensation, storage and shipping of study materials.
• Responsible for the receipt and dispensation of blank matrices.
• Responsible for performing the study sample disposal.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating freezer control inventories including, but not limited to, blank matrices and study samples.
• To review and/or approve all documentation regarding freezer control activities in accordance with operating procedures and good laboratory practices (GLP).
• Coaching, training, and mentorship for other Support Technicians.
• Coordinate the receipt, shipping and disposition of study samples.
• To respond to QA citations.
• To perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Educational: College degree in health sciences or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.

Skills: Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills, attentive to details. Able to manipulate mid-heavy materials. Bilingual. Knowledge of FDA-GLP and TPD regulations and experience in the medical or pharmaceutical field is an asset.

Software: Access, Outlook, MS-Office, Great Plains Dynamics, Watson.
